Thank you

15th March, 2008

To all of the wonderful people who have been sending the E-Base team messages,

Thank you for all of your support and well-wishes. You have encouraged us to stay inspired when things were not always as rosy as we would have liked, and you still remind us on a daily basis just how many people believe in what we are trying to do.

For all of the friends and supporters of the Inspire Antarctic Expedition team members who are avidly following the story as the team is on their way to join us, thank you for your messages and know that the 2008 IAE Expedition site is up and running: http://expedition.2041.com. You can watch your friends and family as they travel through Antarctica and leave comments on their posts on that site.

All the best from the EBGL team here in Bellingshausen and please continue to follow the adventure!

  1. hI lAUREN wylie: WELL, HERE IN America, in the Pacific NorthWest, so called due to the Pacific Ocean to the west, and the States in the North west of America, namely Oregon, Washington and I daho, we are thinking of you this minute……we realize you are somewhere, way down at the “bottom” of the globe, or planet earth….I hesitate calling it the south-pole, as that is a geographical description given over by Humans when in fact the area you are in, is sooooooo unique in the big picture of life itself…For example, in Kosovo, the Serbs rioted and fired at the UN soldiers…now, things like that do not happen in Antarctica…In New York City, J.P. Morgan bought out the “failing” Bear Stearns Bank, about to go bankrupt…and perhaps, 7000 employees willl lose their jobs…But enough of that, just turn on your television, for more news, (all bad)…. So, Lauren, we are thinking of you right now, along with allll of those people I sent your e-mail to…..love tom
